I talked to him on the phone a couple of times when he was thinking about moving to Florida, and just as I did with Grumpy, when his health was failing, If I didn't see a morning post from him I'd call to be sure he was alright. Sometimes I don't think he could grab on to my sense of humor, and he sounded a little put off when I'd call in the mornings, but I think he understood that I was concerned for his well being.  I genuinely liked him, and just like Grumpy, will miss him very much.

                   Rest In Peace Paul

Nice one Dan. Like you, I didn't know him on a face to face level. His posts, usually the first of the day, will be missed.

Our old friend Paul went to meet his maker on March 4, 2015. I personally did not know Paul very well as we never really interacted outside of the OFOPOS board(s) but I know that he will be missed.

In my mind, Paul was one of those real simple guys that are real fascinating by way of their simplicity. He seemed to have a knack for taking things that most of us find complicated and reducing them to their simplest form. Paul seemed to know at least a little bit about just about everything, or at least all the things that we tend to talk about, and he always kept a positive outlook even as his health was failing.

Rest In Peace, Paul. You will be sorely missed.
